So let this be a sign to you, to get started. Whatever you have been thinking about in your mind, just START it.
Personally, I have been thinking about starting a blog. This past winter break was the most consecutive time I have had off from work since January 2020. I not only had time to think, but I had time to take action. I started watching Youtube videos and following along to building a blog tutorials. I have spent countless hours this new year designing the website you’re currently reading this post on. I could continue to tweak the website I have built in to infinity, until I deem it to be * perfect *. But does perfect exist? Not really. I have built a functional website. Now it’s time to START the thing and blog! This page will forever be a work in progress, just like you & I.
So here goes nothing my friends… my first blog post. Dedicated to announcing that I am going to be blogging, haha.
With starting a blog, comes the need to dive into a niche. While researching the various niches and communities that currently exist, I came across the slow living movement. This movement spoke to me. It gave me hope that the life I have been craving and dreaming of in my head can become my reality. And so with that, I have decided to dedicate this blog to documenting my personal journey towards a slower lifestyle through my everyday life, my love of plants, my travel adventures and more. I want to help and inspire others along the way to join me on this journey, as I truly believe it can change our lives.
